About visionary Optical Systems
Visionary Optical Systems is a consulting company operated by Dr. Christian Keyser. His R&D exposure spans the Naval Research Laboratory Space Sciences Division, Northrop Grumman Laser Systems, and the Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate Electro-Optics Seekers Section. His technical achievements cross multiple disciplines and include laser source development and active imaging systems. More specifically he has developed solid state laser systems, multispectral and multipolarization fiber laser sources, optical augmentation systems, polarimetric LIDAR and multispectral LIDAR. His recent work on multispectral fiber sources and fiber-based wavelength conversion has leveraged recent break throughs in anti-resonant hollow-core photonic crystal fiber. He has developed custom sources using stimulated Raman scattering, four wave mixing, and Kerr phase modulation in conventional silica fiber and gas filled anti-resonant hollow-core photonic crystal fiber. These new fiber sources have been used to showcase radically new polarimetric LiDAR and spectral LiDAR systems for material detection and classification.
